As one of the Sourcing and Commercial Managers within the function, you will be responsible for a purchasing portfolio which covers a variety of categories and will be required to understand the business and identify any opportunities to save money or add value. Your main remit will be to work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and subsequently define and develop a regional commodity purchasing plans whilst ensuring successful delivery. To qualify, you must have a good purchasing background with specific experience across a range of Indirect categories such as FM, HR, Corporate Services, Travel, Print etc.; any experience within the IT category will be of particular interest. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and to have an advanced level of negotiation and influencing skills, as well as having excellent commercial awareness and communications skills, contract negotiation and drafting experience and ideally be CIPS or part CIPS-qualified.
